Each year, communities around the world gather for Overdose Awareness events to remember the lives lost, acknowledge the grief of those left behind, and advocate for a more compassionate response to substance use. This year, Wellness Collective, USARA, an the Moab Recovery Center invite you to join us for a community walk and remembrance gathering in Moonflower Canyon.
Together, we will honor those we've lost to overdose, hold space for those navigating recovery, and stand in solidarity with families, friends, and frontline workers who continue to show up with courage and care.
This offering is free and open to all. Whether you’ve been personally impacted or want to stand with those who have, your presence matters.
Substance use and overdose are part of the health realities many in our community live with. By gathering in reflection, we reduce stigma and replace it with understanding, compassion, and hope. Healing begins when we create space to remember and reconnect.
"Grief is love with nowhere to go. Let's give it a place to breathe."
